On January 14 & 16th, 2015, Crystal Howard, Alyssa Burley and James DeCarolis visited Lindo Park School in Lakeside, CA.
Three classes of 4th & 5th grade students participated in the Project Cornerstone program. The students learned about local construction aggregates (i.e., sand, gravel and crushed stone), why beach sand is not suitable for making concrete, and they made their own concrete bugs, footballs and stars.
