Project Cornerstone staff members attended the Power Friday meeting with Senator Joel Anderson with the 36th District sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) on Friday, August 15, 2014.

Staff members met with Senator Anderson to discuss the local construction aggregate shortage and the importance of having additional permitted supplies.  In addition, they were able to discuss the organization’s concerns with Senate Bill 1270 and advised the Senator to watch for the legislation to resurface next session.

Project Cornerstone will send additional information and educational materials to the Senator in the future, to keep him informed about the importance of local permitted construction aggregate resources.
