Location: VertiBlock San Diego, a division of Enniss Inc. in Lakeside CA.

Job Title: Introductory Laborer Position to Create Concrete Blocks!

Job Description: Perform a wide range of duties within the plant to produce precast concrete products including but not limited to:

• Strip and clean concrete forms;

• Oil concrete forms before pour;

• bend and tie rebar;

• Pour concrete, shovel, vibrate and finish;

• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.

Requirements/Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent;

• Good basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication);

• Pre-Employment Physical examination and drug screen required;

• Ability to lift 50 – 100 pounds, if required;

• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses; 

• Ability to communicate effectively in English;

• Good attendance and positive attitude a must;

• Eye for detail.

We will train successful applicants and compensation is commensurate with experience.
