On Saturday, September 19, 2015, Project Cornerstone participated in the Mira Mesa Street Fair.
The community fair is an annual event that draws community organizations, businesses, crafters, elected officials, military and law enforcement agencies to mingle with the community.
Project Cornerstone’s booth drew a steady stream of people throughout the day. Around 150 adults and children made concrete stars while learning about the importance of the local construction aggregates industry in their community.
Hanson Aggregates, an event sponsor and local construction aggregate quarry operator, displayed a loader for visitors to tour, handed out soil and seeds, and free canvas bags.
Thank you, Hanson Aggregates, for inviting Project Cornerstone to participate in this event and kindly including us on the canvas bag give-a-ways.
