Superintendent Mr. Ernie Anastos invited Project Cornerstone to meet with local middle school science teachers last Thursday, on August 14, 2014 at Lemon Grove Academy.
The Project Cornerstone staff educated the group of science teachers about the current construction aggregate shortage in the county and led them in a hands-on concrete making activity.
The teachers provided feedback and discussed how the project would benefit their students and fit into the Next Generation Science Standards.
