On November 5th, 2014, Project Cornerstone was given the opportunity to present before the Board of Directors of the California Construction and Industrial Materials Association (CalCIMA). 

Project Cornerstone discussed how we were formed and illustrated how we have been implementing in-class activities with schools and presentations before service groups to accomplish our mission of ensuring our communities understand that construction aggregate is the cornerstone of our communities. 

We emphasized Project Cornerstone was dedicated to public outreach and education about the industry.  Our presentation was well received and it served as the beginning of Project Cornerstone and CalCIMA working together to spread knowledge of the industry. 

Project Cornerstone will continue to work with CalCIMA and its Board as we continue to move forward and develop educational programs.
